We have been fabricating steel since 1974 from our workshop at 4 McIntyre Road, Tomago. We work with small and large civil contractors, infrastructure and project management teams.

Cottage Creek Bridge, Newcastle
For Robson Civil, we fabricated and installed a new 30 metre pedestrian and cycle bridge over Cottage Creek on Honeysuckle Drive. It replaced an old concrete structure and is designed to support varying types of traffic, including heavy vehicles. The project began with consultation with the project engineers and designers, to align the structure of the bridge with its architectural design. The steel was fabricated at Tomago over about four weeks and installed on site over two weeks. Delivery and installation had to fit planned road closures, so our team prepared a detailed production schedule and coordinated the closures with local authorities. Design, fabrication and installation
We can help with the planning, design and engineering certification stages, then fabricate, transport and install the steelwork. Our products are designed to be easy to transport and install. At the time of quoting, we discuss your schedule and aim to give an estimated timeline for fabrication, transport and installation. Powder coating is available in a range of colours. We work with steel, stainless steel and alloys.

Yes. We can fabricate, transport and install. On the Cottage Creek Bridge, installation on site took two weeks after about four weeks of fabrication.
