We are a wholly Australian owned business that started in Newcastle as a one-person operation, and our workshop is at 4 McIntyre Road, Tomago. We design and fabricate steel, stainless steel and alloy products for the mining, civil and infrastructure sectors, as well as one-off items for local businesses. No project is too large or too small for us to quote.
What we fabricate
Our work falls into three main groups.
- Mining: ventilation control devices for underground mines, including airlocks, overcasts, regulators, doors, hatches and coffin seals. See mining fabrication.
- Civil: stairs, ramps and ladders, rails, barriers and bollards, sign frames, custom gate systems and stormwater drainage. See civil fabrication.
- Custom and general: asbestos bins, hook bins, equipment lockers, inspection platforms, mezzanines and park and entry gates. See custom metal fabrication.

From design to installation
We can help with the planning, design and engineering certification stages, then fabricate, transport and install the finished work. Our products are designed to be easy to transport and install on site. Powder coating is available in a range of colours.
On the Cottage Creek Bridge for Robson Civil, a 30 metre pedestrian and cycle bridge on Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle, the steel was fabricated at our Tomago workshop over about four weeks and installed on site over two weeks. The delivery and installation were planned around road closures.
Who we work with
We work with small and large civil contractors, infrastructure and project management teams. Civil clients have included Daracon, KCE, Fulton Hogan, Woodbury Civil and Robson Civil. We have supplied multiple underground coal mine sites with ventilation control components and heavy duty rated overcast assemblies, and our mining products go to mines in NSW, Queensland and Western Australia. We have also made storage components for the Royal Australian Air Force, and stairs, walkways and flyover systems for Tank Solutions' tank projects.

Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, and our structural steelwork is certified to AS/NZS 5131. Every rated mining product is certified by qualified engineers.
