Enter the opening size and the pressure difference across the stopping. The calculator gives the total load on the opening and the load on each leaf.

How the figures are worked out
Load is pressure multiplied by area. A 1 m² opening at 1 kPa carries 1 kN, so a 4.5 m × 2.2 m machine door at 5 PSI (34.47 kPa) carries about 341 kN.
